Notifications SPL Approvals Module
Once the module is configured, review the process that Vtiger will follow for you to approve the changes you specified.
- Once the changes are saved, if a user attempts to save a value that matches the configured restrictions, Vtiger will display a notification indicating that the change requires approval. Meanwhile, the record will remain in the Pending Approval state.
- The Supervisor and the recipient of the notification copy will receive an email requesting approval of the change. This email will include the affected field, the attempted value change, the user who made the modification, and a direct link to the corresponding record.
- By clicking on the record link, the Field Approval section will be displayed, allowing the Supervisor to approve or reject the change.
- If the link is not clicked, based on the option selected in the configuration Show pending approvals ONLY upon login, the Supervisor will see a popup window in Vtiger showing the pending approvals. From this window, they can approve or reject the change.
- Depending on the Supervisor's response, the user who made the modification will receive an email with the decision, along with a direct link to the corresponding record.
- If the change is not approved, the value of the selected field will automatically revert to its state before the request.
